With its warm, inviting atmosphere, it's no wonder that this lomi house has become a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike.
Upon entering, you’ll be embraced by a homey ambiance, perfect for gathering with friends or family. The definitive star of the menu is undoubtedly the lomi, adored by patrons for its rich flavors and generous portions. As noted by guests like Vilma Gella and Doods Dayto, the lomi here offers a delightful balance of taste and texture, making it a must-try for anyone visiting the area. Beyond lomi, guests rave about the pares and pancit, dishes that reflect the traditional roots of Filipino cuisine.
The attention to detail in every dish is impressive, as expressed by Kim Mitchell Tria-Tirona, who commends the big servings and flavorful experience offered at Mang Kulas. Each plate is not just a meal; it's an experience, making it perfect for sharing among friends or family. There's something particularly heartwarming about the food here—it’s like being welcomed into a friend’s home where love is the key ingredient in every recipe.
Service at Mang Kulas is another highlight. Customers like Algezon have praised the staff for their unmatched hospitality and attentiveness, ensuring that your dining experience is nothing short of excellent. It's worth noting, however, as Darius King points out, that the preparation time may be a bit longer compared to fast-food chains—this is a place dedicated to crafting quality dishes rather than rushing through orders. Patience is rewarded with flavors that linger on your palate long after the meal.

We had our breakfast here. I ate tapsilog and the meat was quite sweet. The egg wasn't overcooked so the yolk was really runny which I like for my sunny side ups. Rice was fried normally without any additional ingredients. The service was great. I just hope for anyone looking to eat outside of manila. I hope you will be patient while you wait for your order. It's not a fast food. They offer great food.

We found this hidden gem on our way back from the resort. We were very hungry and were craving Lomi. This was the perfect place to be. We were the only ones at that time eating, so we had no issues with parking or tables. The staff is lovely. We didn't have to wait long for our food. The prices are amazing; we were surprised when we saw the menu—such delicious food at such a low price. The servings are very big, so we ended up ordering three dishes (yes, we were super hungry and it was our first meal of the day): sizzling sisig, pares and lomi. We had two iced coffees as well as two ice creams. The lomi was delicious and rich in flavor; the soup (compared to other places) was stickier, but it didn't bother us. The sisig and pares were very tasty. The coffee's nothing extra; I believe it is brewed coffee with some condensed milk. To me, my coffee was too sweet, but it was my fault. Usually I mention that I prefer it without sugar, but now I completely forgot. I'm just not used to the condensed milk flavor in my coffee. I recommend this restaurant for its dishes and flavor. As for drinks, if you want good coffee, maybe a café somewhere is a better choice. I wishh I could have tried all of their dishes, haha!
